Summer solstice is fast approaching, and with it St. John’s Eve. Craftsmen and merchants from faraway regions will once again gather by Wawel Hill for the annual St. John’s Fair. You'll be able to feast your eyes on the plethora of stalls, buy unusual objects, admire the dexterity and talent of master craftsmen... And that’s not all: enter this world, become one of them, immerse yourself in history! If you’d like to become a queen’s handmaiden or a knight’s squire, you must learn court dances and curtseys, attire and customs, lest you become a laughing stock. Want to become an artisan? Try your hand at different crafts, and become an Apprentice of All Trades.

Got a flair for solving puzzles, enjoy mysteries and adventures? You can prove yourself as a detective and receive His Royal Highness’ (HRH) Apprentice Investigator’s Privilege. After the hardship of all this study you’ll be able to take a rest and enjoy yourself fashioning animals out of straw or making a medieval puppet of your own design. You’ll even get a title of a Puppet Master. We implore you – come forth!

Titles to obtain:
- Handmaiden obtains a testimony of acceptance into the Royal Court retinue (girls)
- Squire obtains a testimony of acceptance into the Royal Court retinue (boys) 
- Apprentice of All Trades receives a proclamation of release from indenture
- Investigator receives a Privilege

After obtaining three titles, you can also get a Puppet Master’s licence.
